registration confirmation mail not deliverable

I just had a look at the message activities and saw that the all email messages to the recipient went through, but the emails to the admin could not be delivered.

It says No recipient. Where do I provide the respective admin email address?

Hi,

Does the event admin email address (i.e. the event author) have any umlauts in the email address?

What happens if you try to send a test email to that email address through the messages editor?

Hi Lorenzo,

I found the issue.
In the message template the recipient was [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL]. However, I did not have an email address provided in that paticular event author.

Changed it and emails arriving now.

By the way, I modified the standard message templates.

Will these get replaced when updating EE?

Hello,

Thanks for lettings us know how to you resolved the issue.

When an upgrade occurs, then the core plugin files and folders are removed and replaced. Your message template would not be replaced or changed.
