Howdy! When I first set up EE4 on my server, I had my own personal email address as the placeholder in the EE settings. Before selling tickets, I updated the email address to the the registration coordinator’s address.
They are receiving confirmation of each registration, but in the email that goes to the person who signed up for the event, the “Connect with this event” box on the right-hand side of the email still has my address. Oddly, the “Connect with Us” box at the bottom of the email has the correct address.
I’ve looked at all the back-end settings and don’t see where my email is saved anywhere. Obviously, I’m missing something because this is stored SOMEWHERE. Can someone point me to the settings area or file that needs to be updated so that the “Connect with this event” box has the accurate email address?
By default, notifications are sent to the event author / event creator through the [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL] shortcode.
The email that is used in the connect with us area uses the email that is set for [CO_EMAIL] and that is retrieved from Event Espresso –> General Settings.
Could you double-check both areas to ensure that they have been updated?
