Hello, We are setting up a site and have quite a lot of issues with the Registration Checkout, That we can’t seams to find a way to resolve. First of we are in the UK the date picker is not in UK format, how can we make sure that it is in UK Format. Can I set the country to default to UK? As this would be Helpful Make Fields save the information. We have a lot of fields at the top and they are not saving apart from the other Attendee. Many Thanks. |

Hi, The datepicker -assuming this is the one in the event editor. If so, this is set to international format (Year-month-day) and cannot be changed. Regarding setting the UK, first off make sure the Organisation country in the General Settings > Your Organization is set to the UK. Then head over to the Countries tab, select the UK from the dropdown and set the “Country Appears in Dropdown Select Lists” to Yes. You can also select the US and Canada and set the “Country Appears in Dropdown Select Lists” to No should you want to remove them. “Make Fields save the information. We have a lot of fields at the top and they are not saving apart from the other Attendee.” Can you provide a little bit more info on this please? Are these fields in the admin or on the front end? Can you provide a link to an example? Are they not saving even when data is being added to them? Thanks! |

Hello, The datepicker -assuming this is the one in the event editor. If so, this is set to international format (Year-month-day) and cannot be changed. No this on the front end where the user selects their Date of birth. We need it to be in the format of Date/month/year not Month/Date/Year For the country list we need UK to be selected by default. I have removed the others but its still not selected by default. What i means by fields not saving, is when a user fills in this page. When they come back to it it forgotten what they had already submitted. Like it already remembers name/ email, it would be helpful if it remembered everything else helping people book another event. Many Thanks. |
Hi, the formatting of the datepicker can’t current be changed. You can default to a country by using some jQuery: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/0b8f168596912fd8252d The WP User Integration currently saves the personal question group. We have an enhancement ticket to save other fields such as the address. — |

Hi all, thanks for all your help today (its been one of my team messaging you). We’re hitting a few issues that are going to cause us problems. We purchased the user integration plugin assuming it would allow people to login and not need to re-enter their data. Discoving it only saves 4 fields is really disappointing and at what is quite a late stage in a project I am going to have to tell the client they can’t have what they asked for. Surely only saving 4 field renders the ability to login a bit useless? I imagine they can live with the date issue. But it would be good to be able to change it in the near future. We really need to get the login issue sorted, we’re also waiting on the event checkout functionality as this is something else they really need. Is there anything we can do to speed along the ‘enhacement’ of this plugin? Personally I’d see it as key functionality rather than an enhancement… Happy to move this conversation to email. Zoe |
Hi Zoe, We see these as enhancements because the WP User Integration add-on is so much more than just pulling information from the profiles to fill into the registration forms. For example, the ability to offer members only events, and discounts, creating users upon registration, etc. Pulling information is just one of the features. I don’t have an estimated time of completion for the enhancement ticket for auto-populating more fields than what is already there. It is a new ticket, so it is likely to be some time before it is addressed, unless we can get enough sponsors to move it up in priority. |

Hi Jonathan, its upsetting that you sell this plugin as one thing and now we have to let a client down because it doesnt live up to the description. No where on the description or the documentation just is explain this limitation. If I have paying members and clients logging in to buy tickets to my events regularly I think they’d be pretty miffed if they had to enter their info every time. The description says:
I’d really like some suggestions on how we resolve this? We’re going to upset quite a large customer over such a simple feature. We also have lots of clients using your system and we don’t go the cheap route and buy a dev licence, they all buy licences. I get that we’re probably one of hundreds of thousands but I’d like to think you value our custom a bit!! Would really appreciate some help here! Zoe |
Hi Zoe, I understand. This is why we are working on an enhancement. However, the description does state that the add-on pulls “personal information”, which in EE is the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. We even provide a screenshot in the description. We in no way intended to mislead you in this. I am sorry that we did. We will update the documentation and add-on description with a note stating that limitation. At this time I don’t have any suggestions. |
