Hi, We are currently using EE4 for registrations. We noticed there are currently two pages for the registration check-out process – 1) Personal Information and 2) Billing information. We often have users purchase tickets for other people. Would it be possible to add a third “attendee” page? If so, how would this be done? Ideally, the purchaser would update is personal information (Page 1), then the next page would be the attendee’s info (himself or herself, friend, family member, etc. (Page 2), followed finally the billing information (Page 3). Please advise. Thank you. |

Hello Brandon, The registration/checkout process is pretty much set. In other words, the steps aren’t customizable. Have you turned on group registration for your events? The Primary attendee will fill in their information, then on the same page, they can fill in the rest of the group members’ information. You will also need to select which information you want to require for registration. This is done in the event editor at the bottom right. Does that help? |

Hi Jonathan, Thank you for bringing to my attention the group registration fields. This helps, but doesn’t fully resolve the problem. For example, I wish to enroll my teenage son in one of our classes specifically for teens. There’s only one attendee – my teenage son. Two get to my son, I need to select two attendees, yes? But I don’t want to pay for myself, just my son. And his name should be on the roster, not mine. Am I missing something? |

Hi, We don’t currently have an option for people who are just registering. I would suggest setting up your questions so that they have an additional question group that logs the person registering (e.g. Parents details), and leaves the main details for the actual attendees. |
Hi Dean, Thanks for your reply. Yes, we will tweak the registration process accordingly given the functionality of EE4. Might I suggest this become an add-on or plug-in? Specifically, adding another step to the registration process for ATTENDEE information, which can be different for the USER. ATTENDEE 1 would be auto-populated with the USER information but can be changed accordingly. I would think others have expressed this desire as well. Thanks! |

Hi there Brandon, I do think this would be helpful as well and I’ve added your feedback to a current enhancement ticket that we are discussing some ideas in. Thanks again! — |
