I am being told of issues while people are registering if fields are auto-filled by the browser or device. For example if Country and State are selected by auto-fill when you attempt to submit the registration the application thinks they are not set and displays the red error message next to each. If you then manually select a different one from the drop-down and then manually change it back to the correct one it goes through.
Is there a way to make auto-filled fields be accepted or perhaps prevent fields during registration from being auto-filled?
May I ask which browser does this happen with, and does it happen if you temporarily preview a default theme? You can test out a preview of a default theme with the WordPress Customizer theme selector (just don’t publish the changes).
Thank you for responding. Fortunately, I think this is a non-issue. I have tried to recreate the issue again on my end and was not able to. The mobile user who also reported it has not been helpful in collecting information so I think it may have been user error on their part. Please go ahead and close this out. Thank you!
