Registration approved message shows personal e-mail address

Dear support team,

The registration approved mails sent to our customers show the “Connect with this event” box including a phone number (empty) and e-mail address (my personal address). It is unwanted that my personal address shows here, but I cannot find where this e-mail address comes from. All available settings I can find show the general role based info@ mail address.

Do you know where your plugin retrieves the mail address displayed in the connect with box from?

If the short code in the message template is [CO_EMAIL], which is usually what’s in that contact section of the template, then it gets the email address that’s set in Event Espresso – General Settings > Primary Contact Email.

Dear Josh,
For some reason, it’s “[EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL]”.
Is there a way to reset it for all events?

If all events use that one template, then you change the short code in that one template. If each event uses its own custom registration approved template, you can change either the email address in the author’s user profile, or change the templates.
