Espresso Event used several years now fails to open cart page last couple days. Updated 9/5/2014 to 3.1.36.5.P, WP 4.0. I have System Status page dump available too, bottom of post.
Filling out registration then Captcha and submit just returns to
http://ksmuseums.org/event-registration

If I click to Add to Cart then View Cart, or Register then go to cart (depending on event) I go to
http://ksmuseums.org/event-registration?regevent_action=show_shopping_cart
with following message:

It looks like you are attempting to refresh a page after completing your registration or your cart is empty. Please go to the events page and try again.

one status line below said this:
Session save path: does not exist – contact your host to resolve the problem.
but called provider and he swore it can’t be.

Kansas Museum Association is just about to have a flood of registrations for annual conference so appreciate the help.
