Dear Support,

I have the following question: one of our delegates have purchased a ticket for our conference for her and a business partner, all was done at the same time in one transaction, although for whatever reason one of them can no longer come and we have refunded the money following the procedure you guys told me to do via stripe. all went according to instructions but somehow now the status shows as incomplete, please see the following link transaction incomplete When checking the transaction details I can see that one of the delegates still showing the green approved status where the other show the grey cancelled status see this link approved and cancelled status

Could you please clarify for me this matter?

Further more, I need to charge a cancellation fee, but i am having problem finding where to do so on event espresso. Is there an option for me to charge the delegate this cancellation fee with the data stored on event espresso or should I do it via stripe? And if so, any idea how?

Hi Andy,

I’m not sure what you’re asking for clarification here for. Is it because you think that the Transaction Status should stay Complete? If so, no, when a refund is issued, the Transaction Status changes to Incomplete.

Currently Event Espresso does not have a way to bill for a cancellation fee. Here is a list of Invoicing solutions that can be integrated with Stripe:
