Hi there,

Is there anyway for event espresso to provide a link for attendees to add the event to their own calendar? Every Webinar I participated in offers this option.

Hi Cindy,

Do you mean and iCal?

Next to the datetime you should see a calendar icon, if the user clicks that it will download the iCal for that datetime and they can add that to their Calendar – http://take.ms/pbVFK

Is that what you are looking for?

Hi Tony,

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, that functionality is exactly what I was looking for! I missed this it as it was so small on the event landing page. Is there any way this option can be added to the final page once they receive their registration confirmation? I feel like they may miss this during the ticket selector page?

I also have another question, for some reason the receipt that my registrants receive as the incorrect address information, and time zone. I’ve already updated the Venue info and my Organization contact info with the correct details. For some reason it keeps showing “template” copy.

See sample: it reads Africa, I am in the USA.

And the incorrect zip code, state, street keeps showing up:

Is there any way this option can be added to the final page once they receive their registration confirmation?

Do you mean on the thank you page, where they can download the Receipt?

See sample: it reads Africa, I am in the USA.

Within Dashboard -> Settings -> General -> Timezone

Do you have a city near you set in that field or a UTC value? If UTC change it to a city close to your location and recheck the above.

And the incorrect zip code, state, street keeps showing up

Go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Invoice (if its inactive, temporarily active it)

You’ll find Address info fields within the invoice, are the incorrect values set there?

If so you can remove them from the Invoice settings and EE will switch to using your Organization info.

Thank you so much! I was able to update this content.

As for your answer below: Yes, that is correct! Is there a way to do this?

Do you mean on the thank you page, where they can download the Receipt?

Is there any way this option can be added to the final page once they receive their registration confirmation?

Thank you so much!

That’s tricky because an event can have multiple datetimes and a ticket can register onto more than one.

We don’t have any functions you can use to output the Ical for the datetimes selected within the registration on the thank you page, so this will take some custom development.

Are you currently working with a developer? I can try and point them in the right direction if they would like to give it a try?
