We have a group rate for an event but have 4 physicians who want to be able to pay separately for receipt purposes so they can be reimbursed. If we use a promo code to discount an individual registration to the group rate fee but then use the ticket selector to change them to the group rate ticket afterwards, will the change be reflected on the event page where it indicates the number of tickets sold? That is, will the individual tickets sold count include those 4 registrations or will they be counted under group tickets? |

Hi William, I’m not sure I completely follow your question. So, in general, people’s registrations count for whatever ticket they have and the registration status is Approved. |

I know it’s a little weird to articulate. What if we change the individuals to the group ticket after they register? Client wants to know if when reports are run that the ticket sales will accurately reflect the number of group sales we had. Normally 4 physicians would be registered by one person who would pay for everything and enter their names. But these 4 want individual receipts so they want to pay separately. I don’t see a way to do that unless they register individually and we just use a coupon code to reduce the cost of each ticket. But them registering as individuals would be counted as individuals and not as group rate tickets sold. If we change their ticket to the group rate ticket would that show up in reports? |

Hi there, The reports will show whichever ticket they are assigned to at the time the report is run.
Change them how? With the attendee mover add-on? If you have a group registration of 4 and you move those 4 onto a ‘group ticket’ (basically just another ticket with different pricing, right?) then the group registration is still a group and would be a single transaction. If you want each of those registrants to have their own individual payment option and a separate receipt for each registration then they would need to no longer be a group registration. To do that you could use an admin-only ticket and reregister them onto that one, would that work? |

Change them how? With the attendee mover add-on? Yes, if we changed their individual tickets to group tickets (same price if we use a promo code on their individual registrations) it sounds like they would be listed under groups. I don’t know that an admin only ticket would work. We just want to be able to track how many purchased the group rate tickets – but for this particular set of physicians we need individual receipts. |

You can close this ticket; I did a test and got my answer. It will report properly. Thank you |
