Hi, i want to go ahead and register and then test ee4 and the addons i’ve purchased while the site is still in its temporary, staging url. Can i change the url after the site’s url is moved, ie, once the site is finalised and ee is run through its paces??
I do get a warning message when i go to register on the dashboard that registration should not happen while in a temporary url, but i can’t see how one would test prior to going live if that was the case.

Hi there,
We recommend not adding your support key to Event Espresso whilst the site is in development, you can install EE4 (and the EE4 Add-ons) onto the site without inputting the support license key. This will not effect the performance of Event Espresso however you will need to update EE manually if not key is installed.
If you do add the key you can request a reset from your account page and we can reset this for you when the domain changes.
