Hi Support Team, I’m setting up an event for a banquet in March. However, after some testing, I’m seeing that the ‘register now’ button isn’t working as it should. I’m unsure what’s going on. Can you help me remedy this? The page with the issue is: Thanks, Peter |

Hi Peter, When you say it’s not working, can you add some details on what is happening, please? I’ve just selected a ticket and clicked register now, which worked as I would expect it to so may I ask what is happening on your end? |

Hi Tony, It doesn’t seem to work as it should in my Chrome and Brave browser, but it does work in Microsoft Edge. In both Chrome and Brave, when I click on the button absolutely nothing happens. Nothing. It is strange. However in Edge, it works as you describe. Does it work for you in Chrome? |

I always test using Chrome first as it’s the most popular browser, so yes, it’s working in Chrome for me. It always works in FireFox and Edge. On each of those browsers, I select a ticket Qty and click Register Now, a couple of seconds later I see the registrations checkout. If you test on Chrome, open Dev Tools and view the ‘Console’ section, then click on the register button. Do you see any errors there? |

Okay, I figured it out the root of the issue. My lastpass browser extension is the culprit. It somehow conflicts with the button — when it turn the extension off, everything magically works. I noticed a similar button issue last week on a different site when I was doing my Christmas shopping. You may want to keep an eye out for this bug on future tickets. I’m contacting LastPass right now. |

Hmm, odd, I use LastPass and have the extension enabled in Chome. Is it an overlay issue? If you right-click on the button itself where you would normally be clicking to continue and do Inspect, what element does it highlight? |

I am having a similar issue, and I have tracked down how to replicate: 2. Select a ticket type, and Register Now. It goes to Cart, and says nothing has been selected. If I am logged into the WordPress Admin panel, the ticket is added just fine. We also moved servers from HostGator to WPEngine the day this all started happening. Any thoughts of the next move? |
