After the upgrade, and after changing the tags from [EVENT_ESPRESSO] to [EVENT_LIST],  when clicking the Register button, just returns to the events page.

http://dakotacurlingclub.org/events/

Click to Register for the Pirate Speil

It was working for the Pirate Speil event on the last version.  It’s not working on an old event that was already created before the upgrade (pirate speil event), and its not working on a new event created after the upgrade (test new version event).

I followed the upgrade steps from this site, and I have not edited anything else.

The register button links to the event page http://dakotacurlingclub.org/events/?ee=14

, but nothing different is displayed.

Hi there,

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS] should never be changed to [EVENT_LIST]. This will break the registration process. You can list out the events on a separate page with the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode, but it is not a replacement for [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]. Please see the shortcode documentation and page settings documentation for more information:

like I said, I didn’t change anything during the upgrade, and it wasn’t working afterwards.  once I put in EVENT_LIST it actually took me to the page we see.

this was a problem before the change to EVENT_LIST

When it is [ESPRESSO_EVENTS], it literally just displays the text on the page “[ESPRESSO_EVENTS]”  go look; http://dakotacurlingclub.org/events/

everything is activated and using the same settings as it did on the previous version.

where can I download previous versions from?

Well, I edited/re-saved the general settings and confirmed the Page settings codes, and now it all works.  I think.  Still to perform some more testing.

Please keep us informed about how the testing goes. Thanks.
