After getting very frustrated trying to work out how to assign events to a region I worked out it is all done by venue, and it appears that a venue can only be in one region.
So, I want to use the RM set up to separate events by age group, but since they use the same venue this is an issue. I don’t want to set up multiple venues with slight name variations to relate to each age group.
Is there a way to bypass this and assign events directly to a regional manager, or in our case an age group manager that is independent of a region?
We have multiple managers utilising the same venue at different times.
It sounds like what you actually need is a custom plugin that divides up the management between age groups instead of regions. Is that about right? I can recommend contracting with a developer who can build this functionality into its own plugin.
