Hi Guys
Just a couple of minor issues I am having with the reg forms and hopefully you can help me out (perhaps these issues are just with my set up)
1. Preselected Selects
If I have a select which is set to required, with two options A and B, the form has A already selected and the user can submit the form without manually selecting an option. I would like to force them to choose between A and B. I could have a blank option i.e “please select” but then the form would still allow the submission with the value as “please select”
2. Checkbox – Required
Similar to above, I have a terms and conditions checkbox set to required. It appears the user can submit the form without forcing the user to click on the checkbox. Is this some issue with validation not validating the selects and checkboxes?

Currently we don’t have an option for this although we do have a ticket to include it within a future version of EE.

That issue was a bug with a single checkbox and has been fixed in version 4.9.3+, if you update to the latest version that should no longer be a problem.

Thanks for your response. Checkbox validation is now working with the latest EE version.
It would be great to see the forcing of selection on selects in a future version, thanks.
