Hi, I just sent a registration email to myself from my demoee site. I see there is nothing next to “Registration Code” or “Tickets” (both just to the left of the venue in this email). Is there a way to add a reg code? I don’t see it in the EE admin pages anywere. If so how do I do that? Also, I “purchased” one ticket (although no transaction went through since paypal isn’t set up here). Should the reg details email contain the number of tickets purchased? As always, thanks for your help. |
Hello, This should be appearing in WordPress admin –> Event Espresso –> Registrations. From this screen, it should appear under the Reg Code column and its copied onto the email that is sent out: http://cl.ly/image/1t2g2L273V1a –> http://cl.ly/image/2Z1a3L1b0w0p — |

Thanks again, Lorenzo for the quick reply. I’m in the Registrations page but there’s nothing in the Reg Code column. IS the reg code automatically generated or do I need to input it somewhere. I don’t see how. |
It is done automatically. Which payment gateway are you testing registrations with? — |

I used Paypal since that’s what we’ll probably be using. Also what about Tickets? Should there be a number of tickets purchased on the Reg email? |
Hi Michael, I’m going to investigate this further. |

Hi Michael, Can you tell me exactly how you created those two registrations because all registrations should be assigned a registration code and I’m unable to reproduce your result thus far. |
|
Hi Michael, The problem is caused when you try to process a paid > $0 registration (not free) WITHOUT properly configuring your paypal settings in Event Espresso. The registration code is not being assigned until there is a payment applied (either via PayPal or another gateway or manually). If you go to the Transactions menu and apply a payment manually, the registration codes will be generated. The registration codes are also added to the email confirmations. Does that help? |

Hi Garth, Thanks so much for the info. I think you created some new transactions on my demo site, right? I did just now get registration emails for a couple events (I’m assuming that was you). In both emails the event is listed twice. Like so: dfgdfgdg dfgdfgdfg Registration Code: 3-4-1-115810-0 April 11, 2014 7:00 pm – April 11, 2014 9:00 pm Registration Code: 3-4-2-115810-0 April 11, 2014 7:00 pm – April 11, 2014 9:00 pm I just copied and pasted the above from the reg. email. The same thing occurred in the other email I recieved, too for this user: qweqwe qweqwe |
That’s likely because two tickets were purchased. Take a look at the registration and transaction records and you’ll see what I mean. |

Garth, You’re right. Thanks. |
