Hi, I have a couple of issues I’ve been trying to get help with. I even offered to use a support token. I already had one and purchased another one not knowing that. My questions are: Can I get a refund on the support token I just purchased? #2 I asked if I could use a support token for fast support. I’ve been working with Tony but he has been ex-communicado since Monday. It’s now Wednesday and I’m not getting my questions answered. How can I get this resolved. What CSS have you tried? — Christador replied Apr 17, 2:39pm I think I pretty much have this figured out. I was able to create two new questions that address the shirt sizes for each attendee. My only question (and I’ve spent quite a bit of time/trial and error fixing this)…is how do we increase the font size on the reg. form? I’ve added additional css based on previous posts but they don’t seem to be doing the trick. Any advice there? Thanks, Chris Tony replied Apr 13, 4:48pm It ‘is’ possible to do it but you’re going to need a fair about of custom code to display the registration questions on that section which will then also need to be maintained. It’s not something we could provide via a support token as it would take a lot longer than 30 minutes (which is the allocated time each support token provides). As registration questions are already included within the emails and on the receipt, I’d advise against this customization as it will be very specific to the setup (not really reusable unless you use the same set up each time) but if it is a hard requirement you could try contacting one of the developers listed here: https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/ — Christador replied Apr 13, 8:16am Tony replied Apr 12, 3:58pm What you have now is how I would set it up, with the exception of also requesting the Personal Information question group for additional registrants so you collect their name. Outputting the registration details on the thank you page at the end can be done, however, not that those details will be emailed to them by default anyway, do you need both? — Christador replied Apr 12, 2:14pm This event is an annual walk/run (5k) event where the registrant gets a free shirt with their registration. So if someone orders qty 2, I’d like there to be a place where we can offer two T-Shirt sizes. If you click on the registration link you can see that I’ve added the shirt sizes. We would like that to appear at checkout where they can see their name and shirt size. For example, John and Jodi go to register, we want them to be able to select Attendee 1 shirt size and then Attendee 2 shirt size. Then when they check out it would show their names with shirt sizes. I’m certainly not opposed to a third party plug-in or add-on, just want to take the best route. Let me know what you think! I have to leave shortly so I may not be able to reply until tomorrow morning. Thank you! Chris Tony replied Apr 12, 1:59pm You don’t need a support token to receive support from us, support tokens are used when its something we don’t cover under normal support or someone wants for us to just go in an fix it for them. For regular support you can either email your question in to support[at]eventespresso.com, or create a thread on the support forums here: https://eventespresso.com/topic-form/ I haven’t redeemed your support token currently so lets work through your issue to see if you actually need one. — Now onto your question. We don’t current have a method to add “add-on” items such as T-Shirts onto a registration other than creating another ticket specifically for those add-ons. For example: Admission – $10 The user selects the relevant ticket (and the qty needed) and purchase the ticket and add-on together. The downside to that is every registration will ask a T-Shirt related question if you need one (size for example). I can show you how to set that up if that will work for you? — The other option is to use a 3rd party add-on called the price modifier add-on, available here: https://aparnascodex.com/downloads/price-modifier-for-event-espresso-4/ What that does is allow you to set up registration questions which adds value onto the transaction if selected. So you could have a T-Shirt question which when selected on a normal registration adds XX value to the transaction, you then don’t need separate tickets for admission and admission + t-shirt with that setup but that add-on has its own costs and support (we don’t provide support for 3rd party add-ons but as I’m aware of the above add-on I let people know about using it for their use case). — {#HS:2211775912-936028#} |
