Refund How do you know it works

I processed a refund and selected paypal express then selected the item status to be cancelled. what does this actually do becasue I see no pending refund at paypal?

Hi Mike,

If you applied the refund in Event Espresso > Transactions it actually sends nothing to PayPal. It’s there purely for accounting purposes. You’ll still need to go into your PayPal and issue the refund.
