I checked your site and it appears that the autoptimize plugin is interfering with the script dependencies there. If you temporarily deactivate autoptimize does the error go away?
Yes it went away… My concern now is that I had to put the auto optimize on because the site got really slow and was told it was db and because of Event Espresso.
Autoptimize might help some, but not much if your site is slow because of the database.
If you want to use Autoptimize, you’ll need to uncheck the box next to “Optimize JavaScript Code?” on its settings page. Autoptimize’s JavaScript code optimizer breaks not only EE’s scripts but also WordPress core scripts with its default settings.
To help with slowness caused by the database, you could check with your host about running a database repair script. Also, a plugin like WP Super Cache can be installed/activated.
Each of the two, WP-optimize and Autoptimize, have a different set of features. I’m not in a position to tell you that you need both.
Ideally, whomever installed the plugins on your site should have tested the site and configured the plugins correctly. Since that didn’t happen, I can advise to uncheck the box in Autoptimize’s settings page. The box next to “Optimize JavaScript Code?”, that’s the one you’ll uncheck.
A recommended alternative to Autoptimize is Fast Velocity Minify. Please note that any caching/optimizing plugins added to your site must be configured correctly and tested to ensure compatibility with the WordPress features you use, your theme, and your installed plugins.
