We’ve run into an issue multiple times over the past year, and are unsure of the cause or best solution. On a handful of occasions, the event details pages on our website have not appeared properly. Based on searching the support forum, we learned that a simple refreshing of the permalinks on the site fixes the issue. That said, this same issue seems to re-occur within the next couple of months. Refreshing the permalinks again always works, but we have no idea what’s causing the issue to keep coming up. Any ideas? We’re using the Divi theme. Classes on the website can be found here https://www.wwbic.com/classes/.
It could be the Divi theme itself that’s causing or contributing to this. We’ve heard of this same thing happening with other sites that use the Divi theme.
You could try this pre-release branch of EE4 that moves the custom post type rewrite rules to get refreshed on a later WordPress hook. If you’d like to try that branch out, it’s available to download here. The branch is almost identical to the current version of EE4, so you could deactivate the current version of EE4 and install that one instead to see if it makes any difference on your site.
