Trying to create a single event that repeats three times a day three days a week forever until the sun explodes. This seems not possible with Event Espresso 4 but is available with Event Espresso 3 via this upgrade?
Is this correct?
And if I purchased Event Espresso 4 figuring that it was the most current version, I need to request a refund and then purchase Event Espresso 3. Is that correct? What fun!

Hi there,
Yes, you are correct that EE4 currently does not support recurring events. For some use cases, you can use EE4 and duplicate an event multiple times, which could be done above will require a lot of admin work.

It is the most current version but it doesn’t cover all use cases as of yet. Recurring events being the main reason people may still choose to use EE3 over EE4. Eventually, when EE3 will be phased out once EE4 covers all of the same uses cases, but not just yet.

No, you can switch your license on your account page which will also address any price difference in the license.
