Currently, EE4 does not support recurring events. You can create a kind of ‘template’ event and then duplicate it multiple times, changing the datetime/ticket dates and slug on each duplicate as a workaround but its still a lot of work.
EE3 add-ons are not compatible with EE4 as they are completely different systems.
The ‘template’ event is a normal event that you are just using to duplicate to save a little time as most of the setup will be done for you, because it’s a copy of the original event.
Create your event as normal through Event Espresso -> Events -> Add new event.
Then save (you don’t need to publish if you don’t want to)
Then under the event title, you’ll see a ‘Duplicate’ button, click that to create a ‘Duplicate Event’ button – http://take.ms/pEaQ3
You’ll now see a duplicate of that original event, you adjust the settings for that specific event, then duplicate the original event again if needed and so on.
