I have confirmed that all configuration fields under the Payment settings have been filled out and that it is not in test mode. I have also looked at the logs and the error message is pretty generic, “There was an error initializing the payment form from Authorize.net. Please contact the site administrator.”. This is the same error message that pop ups when I go to the payment page for tickets.
Any suggestions on what may be causing this and/or how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
You can install the Health Check plugin or similar plugin. After the plugin is activated you go to WP → Dashboard → Heath Check → Troubleshooting.
There you’ll Enable Troubleshooting Mode, then once that’s activated
it will de-activate all plugins and switch you to a default theme if your not already using one (but only for you, the logged in admin). you’ll reactivate Event Espresso and all the plugin from EE only via the Health Check’s Troubleshooting item in the WordPress Dashboard.
At that point, can you check to see if the issue persists?
Once done testing, disable the troubleshooting mode and everything will be back to its current state.
thanks
