We have just discovered that there are several of the participants who receive e-mail that they have entered the event, but the link to the ticket does not work, and the name is not stored in the database. We have debugged and tried to register in various ways, but can not find the error. We assume that this happens when we add more than one person in same form, but we are not sure. Is it possible to find those who have received e-mail but not registered for Attendees? Is this a bug you’ve heard of before? We appreciate the quick reply. For your information, we have used the same plugins and theme once before and had not said the same problem. We’ve upgraded to the latest version of WP and espresso, but the problem is still present.
This can happen if all of the following conditions are met:
1) Someone registers for an event and hit the back button to start a new registration after they land on the “Payment Overview” page.
2) Emails are set in Event Espresso>General Settings to go out *before* payment.
What happens is the registration session isn’t complete until they hit the payment page, so they are in effect overwriting the previous registration with a new registration. We’ve added some pop up warnings to recent versions of Event Espresso that display when someone tries to hit the back button while they are on the Payment Overview page.
If you have access to the mail server that sent out the email confirmations you should be able to find those who were sent the emails.
