Received a payment with no registration

I received a payment for my event but there is no registration in my system. How could this have happened??

Are you using the latest version of EE4? (4.10.0.p currently)

Which payment method are you using on the site?

4.9.79.p was release March 4, 2019, is there something preventing you from updating?

Paypal Express creates logs in the payment log system when it’s used in EE, so what details do you have for this payment currently?

How long ago was the payment made on the site?

There is nothing preventing me from updating – just have not since we had this event going.

The payment was received July 31 in paypal — I can send you screenshots if you tell me where to send them or what other information you need.

I can’t view anything on your site so it’s of no use to me, but if you have the payment info you can check the payment logs.

In Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Logs.

Check the logs added on the 31st of July and see if you can find any details that match the payment. You click on the Log ID on the left to view each individual log entry rather then the TXN ID on the right.
