I’m selling tickets to 1 event with 3 different ticket variations:

How do I customize the user’s receipt to display which of the 3 tickets they purchased and the date and location for that specific ticket?

Hi there,
Event Espresso does not use ‘datetimes’ as locations so currently, an Event can have a single venue assigned separately from datetimes.
Most of the information you need should already be included in the receipt, with the exception of the datetime name (your location).
If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Receipt -> Edit Purchaser you can edit the details there.
To add the datetime name in the list you can go to the DATETIME_LIST section and add the [DTT_NAME] shortcode, for example, you may change that section to use something like:

Hi,
You actually need to put the above into the [DATETIME_LIST] section, you cannot put the above into the [EVENT_LIST] section.
