Hello! Event Espresso 4.6 has been released.

Something not working as expected?

We are here to help!

Are you planning on upgrading from an older version of Event Espresso 4?

See the tips below:

1) Backup your WordPress: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-back-up-your-site/

2) Upgrade to the current version of WordPress

3) Then upgrade Event Espresso 4 through your WP dashboard (WP-admin).
If you are manually upgrading via SFTP or FTP, then first remove the old version of Event Espresso 4. Then you can transfer the files and folders using your SFTP or FTP client. Do not manually overwrite the existing files and folders!

4) You’ll be prompted to migrate your data to the current version. Go ahead and migrate your information.

5) If needed, also update your add-ons to the latest versions. If you need to manually update, then be sure to remove the old versions via SFTP or FTP. Then transfer the new files and folders using your SFTP or FTP client. Do not overwrite the existing files and folders!

Already upgraded to the latest version of Event Espresso 4.6.x and something isn’t working?

See the recommendations below:

1) Is WordPress up to date?

2) Are your Event Espresso 4 add-ons up to date?

3) Have you tried temporarily deactivating other plugins to rule out a conflict?

Issue still occurring? Please see the known issues list in the reply below!
