Each event I’ve created has just two ticket types (Member / Visitor) When I’ve spotted one I’ve deleted it (using trash icon in admin), but when I update (the event) a NEW one (new id) appears and I’ve had to resort to deleting the records directly from the database. here is a screenshot showing 2 additional ‘Member’ tickets I have not created I’ve updated to 4.6.31 but it has been doing the same in last two versions |
Hi Geoff, any caching services running? Also, would you happen to be using a separate plugin for duplicating these events or are they being created as new events? — |
|
If you look within Event Espresso -> Events, on the top tabs do you see a ‘Default Tickets’ tab? – http://take.ms/vHYhd If so can you take a screenshot of that please. |

Hi Lorenzo, |

Hi Tony, All of the events have been published for the last month, and extra tickets show up occasionally during that time – i.e. it is not just after creating the event. |
Hi Geoff, so say you create an event today called event ABC and then save. In a few days, the tickets will be duplicated on their own? Is that an overview of the issue that are are experiencing? — |

Hi Lorenzo, |
|
FYI: I’ve noticed that this has only happened on the 2 events (out of 7) that have registrations. |
Hi Geoff, we have a recent report where a member was using a duplicate post plugin to duplicate the events. This was causing issues with ticket options in the ticket selector. However, your issue sounds different in that, the new options are appearing on their own. Could you share a list of plugins that are on your site? — |
|
|
Sure, this is the list (all at latest versions) I also have two of my own plugins (ya hear alarm bells 😉 I have Deactivated everything except the EE ones for the time being to test further. On the event in screenshot below it was showing tickets Member, Member, Visitor This tallies with what has happened in the database – i.e. one of the existing Member tickets in wp_esp_ticket is now marked as deleted but a new record is introduced. |
|
Not sure if it will help, but what’s interesting about the other event (now passed) is that two of the tickets are expired but one remains active, yet you can see that the dates to be on sale are all identical. |

Further information New ticket with TKT_ID 28 has been created, but note TKT_order and TKT_row are both set to 1 (as is TKT_ID 4) |
