I am looking to connect my QB merchant services account to Events Espresso to be able to accept credit cards. I was told by Intuit Quickbooks that a V2 connection would need to be created to connect my QB merchant services account to the online cart which is Event Espresso. I found the QB payment gateway add-on but it stipulates that Quickbooks Online edition is needed. Before purchasing I need to get clarification on this. I use Quickbooks desktop version. The merchant services account I am talking about allows my QB desktop version to accept online payments. The clarification I need is, well my QB desktop version with the merchant account work with the Quickbooks Payment add-on? Or do I need the QB online version to access the add-on?
Also, is it possible to just create a V2 connection for me? Thank you.
