Hey guys, I am trying to connect Event Espresso to Quickbooks payments and can’t get past this error “The redirect_uri query parameter value is invalid. Make sure it is listed in the Redirect URIs section on your app’s keys tab and matches it exactly. Click here to learn more about the redirect_uri query parameter.” Is there any way you guys can help me get this working? Intuit is F*****G worthless.

Hi Chris,

Do you have a redirect_url set on your key? If not you’ll need to set that up to fix the above. If you already have one it may not be correct or match exactly what intuit is expecting.

On your site go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Quickbooks.

Click on any of the icons in that payment methods settings to open up is help section.

There you’ll find the value you need for the redirect uri, copy it.

Log into your intuit account and go to ‘My Apps’ and click on whichever app you are connecting with.

Open Keys & OAuth and then under keys, you’ll see ‘Redirect URIs’

Paste the uri you copied earlier and save.

Now test your connection again, what happens?
