Setting up a quickbooks connection. I have my production tokens in. I have been unable to disconnect when test connection was up though think the keys updated. |
Hi there, So you connected Quickbooks (in debug mode) using your test keys, left the payment method in Debug mode and updated the keys to production and now can’t disconnect, is that right? Is the payment method still in Debug mode – https://monosnap.com/file/2Cnk7o0Fm21kzpyEY3tZ6H9WJzivK5 If so the payment method is trying to connect to the Quickbooks sandbox with your production keys. Switch Debug Mode off and the payment method should automatically disconnect from Quickbooks (it should do so each and every time you change the Debug mode option). Then reconnect with Debug mode disabled and your production keys in use. |

I have done so but gotten the same error again. |
Generally, at that point, you would also see an error number, something like:
So do you only see:
Or something else? Each time EE sends a request or receives a response from Quickbooks it will log that call in: Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Logs. So if you re-enable the quickbooks payment method and attempt a payment again you’ll see some log entries in that section. Do you see any errors in those logs? |

That’s not the log entry, that’s the transaction. Click the log entry ID on the left rather than the TXN ID on the right to view the logs details. |

The oAuth token being used on the requests is invalid, meaning the connection is invalid. Are you using OAuth version 2 in the Quickbooks settings? Disconnect from Quickbooks and reconnect again in the payment method settings to confirm the key is still valid. |

Hmm, yeah your OAuth2 (Shows OAuth2 at the top of the page and uses ‘Client ID/Client Secret’) Ok, so have you reconnected using OAuth2 again? If so test another payment and check the logs again, same error or different? |

Hmm, strange. Can you send me some temporary login details so I can try our test account in sandbox mode and see if that works, if it does theres an issue with your QuickBooks account. You can send temp login details using this form: |

Ok, so for some reason the connection was not being reset on your site so I’ve cleared out all of the OAuth details from the payment method and disconnected the payment method from the account again. Can you try reconnecting your app to the payment method and see if it works now please? |
