How do you include the list of all Questions and Answers on the registration form in the Registration Pending Payment email that is sent to the Site Administrator? I have used various shortcodes like [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_QUESTION_LIST] in the template, but without success.

Hi Rian,

Within that message template you’ll find the [QUESTION_LIST] field. Is it currently empty?

If so add something like this:

  • Question: [QUESTION]
  • Answer: [ANSWER]

That will include the question and answer for each question.

    Like so – http://take.ms/WvDmR

    Hi Tony

I put your suggestion in the [QUESTION_LIST] field, but nothing appears in the email. I also tried the following with no success:

    <ul style=”list-style: none;”>

  • Question: [QUESTION]
  • Answer: [ANSWER]
  • I added [TOTAL_COST] to the Main Content block to make sure that I am using the correct template and that worked, so I am using the correct template.

    Any ideas?

    Regards
    Rian

    Hi Tony

I just added an opening ul tag before the first opening li tag and a closing ul tag after the last closing li tag (my post above looks a bit awkward!) – without success.

    Hi Rian,

Where are you placing the [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_QUESTION_LIST] shortcode?

I did a little digging into this, seems [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_QUESTION_LIST] is not a valid shortcode (although it should be) within the ATTENDEE_LIST field.

So in order to display the Question list you’ll need to add [QUESTION_LIST] within the ATTENDEE_LIST field (and also the change to the QUESTION_LIST field I mentioned about)

So within the ATTENDEE_LIST field I now also have:

    Questions & Answers

      [QUESTION_LIST]

Placed at the bottom of the default content. That will loop through and display the Question_list for each attendee.

I have created a ticket for some developer feedback on this and will update this thread with any news.

    Hi Tony

    Thank, it works now!

The missing bit was: add [QUESTION_LIST] within the ATTENDEE_LIST field

    Regards
    Rian
