Hi,
We have monthly events that go on for a year or more but are NOT on patterned dates, e.g. “the first sunday of each month.”
So, we might have the same event happening 1x a month on random days for 8 months or a year or more.
Here are my questions:
1. In the New Event admin panel, under “Event tickets and Datetimes,” can I use either the “Duplicate this item” or “Add datetime” to set up separate instances of the same event on different dates? Or should I do this some other way? I’m not clear on the difference between duplicating and adding a datetime.
2. We do not use the native event pages in EE. We just use the event shortcodes on our proprietary pages. If there are multiple dates, say spanning a year, for which people can register, will the reg form just show the current upcoming date? Or all the dates? If the latter, will old dates disappear as the year progresses?
3. Would I have to also create duplicate tickets, or could one ticket description be set for the whole span of time?
Thanks!
