Good day,
Could you please confirm that there are no limit to the total number of tickets that can be sold or registered for an single event in Event Espresso?
Is there a maximum number of tickets in total that can be sold across all events on a site?
Also are there any maximum limits of the values for the following fields within Event Tickets & Datetimes section of the event editor screen: Event Datetimes Limit and Available Tickets Quantity ?
We are currently using Event Espresso – Version 5.0.7.p and WordPress 6.2.2.

Hi there,

Within our code? No, none at all.
There are limits you (the admin) can set within the events, datetimes, tickets, but no limits set by ourselves.
Is there a maximum number of tickets in total that can be sold across all events on a site?
No.
Also are there any maximum limits of the values for the following fields within Event Tickets & Datetimes section of the event editor screen: Event Datetimes Limit and Available Tickets Quantity ?
Other than the max values allowed to be saved within the DB itself, no.

I’m curious as to why you would think there are limits within EE itself?
Is there something within EE/the docs that makes you think there would be?

Hi Tony, that is great news! Thank you very much for confirming this. Yes we had seen several EE support forum posts that we interpreted as a limit on the number of registrations or tickets that could be sold for a single event. But now we understand the 255 is for the Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event and not the Event Datetimes Limit and Available Tickets Quantities.
