Is there a way to show on the event, one price, then if someone uses the Paypal option have that price include an offset for Paypal fees? For example: Client wants to charge $100 for a class. If the attendee pays cash, they pay $100 in person. If they choose to use Paypal, the client will lose money due to the Paypal fees. Is there a way to increase the registration fee if the attendee chooses Paypal within Event Espresso? Thanks in advance… |
My best suggestion would be to have two types of tickets (e.g. General Admission (CASH) $100, and General Admission (CREDIT) $105). That won’t change the checkout experience, but it might help a little. Otherwise you’d have to customize your checkout. |

No worries, I found a work around in the forums: Anyway, now that I have this solved, I’m curious as to how to make the whole selection bar clickable. Right now only the actual text price options will pop the selection bar down. |
|
Hi Jason, So sorry if I am being a little slow this Tuesday morning, but what exactly do you mean by the “whole selection bar clickable”? Do you have a screenshot or example? |
|
You can only click on the text within the bar. If you click the bar itself, it will do nothing. I’m sure it’s some CSS somewhere, but I’m not sure where. Thanks for helping me track it down. Also, don’t worry about your response time. So far it has been awesome. Most plugin developers are truly SAD with their support. I’m impressed so far with you guys. Keep it up:) http://getsoggy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Screen-shot-2013-07-23-explanationClickableBar.jpg |

Haha no problem, I meant mentally slow, it was early 🙂 Ok, it is likely to be a CSS issue, the dropdown isnt that long normally. I tested locally by increasing the width of the price dropdown, and it allowed me to click the white space and select options still. Got a direct link to that event? I couldn’t find it on your site (or the plugin isnt active). |

http://getsoggy.com/train-now/ They should all be active and running… |

Right, whats happening is the span is wide but the actual select is still only 200px, add this to your style.css or a plugin like My Custom CSS: .select-replace-cover select { width: 100% !important; } Aside – I would remove the shortcode from the event-registration page if you are not using it, thats what confused me earlier. |

that bit if CSS worked like a charm and I killed the event registration page. Thank you for your insight! |
|
No problem! |

while I have you, shouldn’t an email go to the email address listed in the general settings for every registration? Or is it just for completed payments. We’ve not received some of the registration confirmations…any thoughts? |
Hi Jason, It depends on how the email options were set. If the “Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received?” option is set to Yes, then you should get an email for each registration whether they’ve paid or not. If it’s set to no, then you should only get the registrations where they’ve paid. |
