We are using the ticketing & barcode scanner add-ins and wanting to know if it is possible for exhibitors who are attending our conferences, to be able to use the QR code or barcodes from the tickets to collect attendee information? Is there a way to make this work?
So delegate registers for the conference through our website, are provided with their ticket to gain entrance to the conference and expo, but then if an exhibitor who has a stall at the conference wants to collect that attendee’s information they can scan the QR code from their registration ticket?

One option would be to set up a password protected page with the barcode scanning add-on’s shortcode:

Ideally they’ll each have a limited-capability user account for the site that allows them to view registration information and nothing else. This is possible with plugins like User Role Editor or Members, where you’ll set that user role to have only capabilities like ee_read_registrations.
