I’ve added the promo banner to the individual event pages but I’d like to add it to the event listing page. Is that possible? |

Hi there, The Promotions add-on automatically displays a promotion banner for ‘codeless’ promotions within the ticket selector for both the single event and event list pages. So just to confirm, when you say:
Do you just mean you’ve enabled the promotion banners? If so, do you display the ticket selector on event lists? (Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates -> Event list pages -> Display Ticket Selector) If not, if you enable the above it should show the banner on the event lists for you along with the ticket selecotr. |

We have over 100 events. It is too much to have the ticket selector on the events listing page. Yes, when I say I added the promo banner..” I enabled the promo banner in settings. I just can’t figure out how to put the banner on the top of the event listing page (https://register.rmf.org) without adding the ticket selector. Also worth noting that we don’t use the /events page. We use a short code on the home page of that site to list the events. See above link. |

Adding a banner to the top of an event list page is different from your original request, we don’t have an option to add a single banner across an event list in that way.
Promotions apply to individual events so we don’t have an option to display the banner across the top of the event list page, as then it doesn’t make sense for events it doesn’t apply to. That’s the reason we hook into each individual events ticket selector to output the banner as then it only shown on events it applies to.
I see, you’re using the table view template to list events, we don’t have an option to include the promotions banner within that output. Do you have a mock-up of what you are trying to do? I’ll see if we have an hook available for it. the table template can be customized and a custom version loaded from your themes root directory in place of the default (which could include a banner of some sort) but that depends on how comfortable you are with PHP/HTML/CSS? |
