I purchased EE4 to using Payeezy. Is there a way to use hosted payment via this yet? Need to ensure PCI Compliance.

Hi there,

I’m afraid the Payeezy gateway uses the Direct API and cannot be used with the Hosted Payment API.

The gateways that offer more easily ensured PCI Compliance include PayPal Express, Stripe, Braintree, and Authorize.net SIM.

Can it be used with EE3? And is it possible to go to this version … is there a cost difference? Feature difference if you really only plan to use Hosted gateway, calendar and grid plugins.

It may be possible to use the EE3 First Data E4 gateway. I tried to verify this with First Data but no timely response I’m afraid.

Here’s what I would recommend: You can download Event Espresso 3 core from Github and install it, try it out and also try out the First Data E4 gateway. If EE3 meets your needs, then you can switch to an EE3 license on your account page.

There are cost differences between EE4 and EE3 support licenses and the amount of difference will depend on which license you switch to. If you need to know the exact amount of the difference, you can contact the Sales team for assistance.
