Pruning Databases – Can I remove _events tables if I am using EE4 with _esp tab

Hi,
-WP 4.0
-4.3.1 – no add ons
-New Install
-somaticexperiencing.com/events
I am looking at my PHPmyAdmin page, and notice all the old tables from EE-Lite v3 are still there. I wanted to know if it would be okay for me to remove all the tables that start with “[DB prefix]_events” that were created for EE-lite v3 (I did initially list my two current events in that software, but I thought they were exported EE4). since I have the “[db_prefix]_esp” tables for EE4?

Hi Peter,

Yes, you can go ahead and do that using PHPMyAdmin or Adminer. Please be sure to backup your database before making changes.

The current version of Event Espresso 4 will offer that as an option during the migration (EE3 to EE4):
