We have just discovered a HUGE error with the Promotion Add-On that needs to be addressed. When we set up a promotion for a gift card (i.e. only want it used 1 time), we set it to be active on all events, and number of uses to 1. When it’s used, it says 1/1 and becomes inactive. However, if someone tries to use their code again for a different event it works even though it’s inactive in our system and shows it’s been used 1/1 times!!. This is not at all how we understood this add-on to work. It needs to be set as a one-time use only then deactivated for any future uses. What is the best way to set up a gift card that should only be use 1 time and will truly be deactivated after it’s used??

Hi there,
I’m afraid that’s actually how the add-on is supposed to work. If you need a truly 1-time use code it must be assigned to a specific event. If it’s assigned to all events then it can be applied once to each event.
