I’m having problems getting a discount code that I created through the “promotions” add-on to apply to a transaction. See photo here.

Hi there,
Hmmm strange.
Are you applying the promotion on the front end or through the admin?
Can you post a screenshot of the promotion itself, I’ll see if I can re-create this locally.

We are applying the promotion through admin side, not front end. Through the settings of Event Espresso in the transaction.
Here is a screenshot of the promotion itself.

Hi there,
I can reproduce this and have created a ticket for our developers to investigate.
I checked to see if frontend promotions still work and those are working as expected, so currently as a workaround you can use button in the transactions table to load the checkout on the front end:
