Hi there,
I’ve been running EE4 for many years and have always used promotion codes to allow customers to take a percentage off certain products at certain times. This has worked perfectly up until now, and exactly as expected.
When I recently went into Event Espresso on my wordpress backend, the “promotions” option had disappeared from the EE menu, and the codes I previously entered came up with an error of “not found” when a test customer tried to enter them.
I’m running EE 4.10.12 and I have the promotions plugin 10.0.15 and they both appear to be running. I believe these are the latest versions.
Have you got any idea what’s going on here and how I can fix it please?

Hi Daniel,
That’s odd, I can see from the REST output that promotions are indeed running on the site.
If you de-activate the Promotions add-on and then reactivate, does it show then?

Thank you for your swift reply.
That does appear to have sorted out the problem!
The menu item as reappeared and it now does appear to be working as expected.

You’re most welcome.
But odd that it was randomly removed and I can’t think of a reason why, if it happens again please do let us know. We may be able to add some debug code to the site to narrow this down some if needed.
