I am trying to change the promotion affect taxes button to yes and this keeps resetting each day, could someone please assist me with this as I need this to keep on ‘YES’ without having to reset each day.

Hi there,
Are you using the latest version of Event Espresso (currently 4.9.21.p) and the Promotions add-on (currently 1.0.10.p)?
We have a filter in place that allows you to override the above setting, you can add:
add_filter( 'FHEE__EE_Promotions_Config__affects_tax', '__return_true' );
To either your themes functions.php file a or Custom Functions Plugin to force all promotions to affect taxes regardless of the setting.

I am having exactly the same issue – using 4.9.2.1.p and 1.0.10.p. Will change the setting to YES, save the change. When I go back in to the plugin later it will have reverted back to NO.

Hi Steve,
We have a ticket to investigate this, but you can use the same function from my previous reply to force all promotions to affect taxes.
