Hi, before using EE we were using Woocommerce to purchase events. We had a nice voucher plugin that would spit out a coupon code into a PDF attachment for the customer for the amount they purchased online. The voucher code could be spent in full or partially if the event price was less than the voucher amount. The holder of the voucher could then use the remaining voucher amount at a later date.
I know this was not functional a few years back. Just wondering if this was possible now?
The promotions add-on allows for a set discount to be applied to the cart (be it a fixed dollar or percentage), it does not track the value usage of that promotion to leave remaining values etc.
So using a $50 discount on a $30 cart makes the event free and classes that as a ‘use’ of the promotion, it does not save the $20 remaining for another use.
Although we have many features with more requests than the above so it’s unlikely to be anything we look into adding soon without sponsorship.
