following on from my last topic (re discount codes and tickets) i have just tried to install and activate the ee promotions add on but every time i try to activate the plugin i get a HTTP500 error. If i refresh the page, i’m taken back to the plugins page and the plugin is inactive.
I have looked at the permission in ftp thinking this could be it, but i dont know what the settings should be. And when i compare the directory to that of another EE add on that is working, they look the same. Any ideas?
That should have actually not allowed activating the promotions add-on before leading to a 500 error, we can look into that to see if something needs fixing on the activation end of the promotions add-on.
Ah right, fair enough. Yeah if you guys could look into that. I could upload it not a problem, it was just after clicking the ‘activate’ link where it happened.
Im on Event Espresso Version 4.9.3.p
Wordpress version 4.4.5
I dont know if that will help with your investigations or not.
So just to confirm. the promotions addon is NOT compatible with my version of EE?
Il need to do some experimenting before updating then. I have some custom buddyPress stuff that works with EE that broke last time so i had hoped i wouldnt need to update too much.
Thanks
PhilB
