Hello. I’m trying to determine if this story is doable in EE4.
As a registrant, I can see the promotional price before landing on the checkout page.
Basically I have a promotion setup for event A where the promotional price ends two weeks before the event start date, and regular pricing kicks in. is it possible to have the promotional pricing show up instead of the default pricing when the promotional pricing is still in effect?
The ticket editor in Event Espresso 4 lets you schedule when a ticket option is available.
You could create a two ticket options, one with the discounted pricing and one with the regular pricing. Then set the regular pricing ticket to start right after the discount pricing ticket closes.
Once you have this then, you’ll have two ticket options and only the discounted pricing will be available for registration.
If you would like to hide the upcoming ticket option which would be the regular pricing ticket, then you can add this CSS to your site through a free plugin like My Custom CSS or Simple Custom CSS:
/* Hide ticket options with a status of upcoming */
.espresso_events .ticket-pending {display:none;}
