My site, https://www.americanmedicalseminars.com/, is running EE4. Currently, when a Promotional Code is applied to a cart, the discount applies to all of the events in the cart. I would like the option to have the discount only apply to a single event in the cart. Is there any way to achieve that model of discounting?

Hi there,
Is your promotion code set to global?
Or set to be valid on each of the events individually?
What type of event setup are you using?
For the above, you’ll need a promotion code that is not global and only applies to 1 of the events that are being added to the cart.

We are actually trying to let customers get a 299 discount when they sign up for two events. Kind of a buy two get 299 off. Is there any way to do something like that?

Hmm, not currently as we don’t have any ‘conditional logic’ in the promotions add-on which would allow you to set up conditions for promotions to be applied, for example Event 1 and Event 2 in the cart allows promotion 10.
As it stands to do the above you would need a 299 discount promotion code assigned to just one of those events and the use would need to input the code, however there’s nothing preventing a user using that same code on that single event should they wish so you would need to monitor promotion usage to confirm the registrations were valid.
