Promotional Code and Multiple Registration

I have noticed that when one person has a promo code for a dollar amount and they register another person(s) at the same time (multiple registrations for same event), that the promo code is applied to each person rather then deducting from the total of all those that registered. Am I configuring this wrong or do I need to limit registration to a max of one person?

Hi,

That’s actually how the promotions add-on for EE3 works. If you want one discount code per event (instead of per registration), you can upgrade to Event Espresso 4 which applies the promotions one per event.
