I have set my promotion code at Number of Uses at 1
Still a customer was able to use it twice, if I look at the promotion overview it shows 2 uses and not available any more.
Is this an error or did I do something wrong?
If you want a promo code to be used only one time, ever, then you assign it to only one event. When it’s assigned to more than one event, it can be used one time per event.
We’re not planning on changing the event scope feature. A lot of people wanted promotions to apply to more than one event and we’re not going to take that away.
I off course want that feature too! What I don`t want is that one code can be used multiple times without any control (over several events), My costumers can buy a promocode that is valid for one year and they can use it for an event of their choice, but now it seems they can use that code over and over.
They can because the code is assigned to more than one event. I made a ticket that requests adding a feature to promotions where it can limit the number of uses to a global scope, instead of an event scope.
