I want to allow promoters of respective events to have the ability to view attendee list, check users into their events (including barcode scanning) and manage attendee list. I downloaded “Memebers” plugin and created a role “promoters” which I allowed the following capabilities:
ee_read_ee
ee_read_event
ee_read_checkins
ee_read_checkin
ee_edit_checkin
But this doesn’t seem to do the trick, as the even espresso menu doesn’t display.
Please provide any insight in this regard as I’m clearly missing something.

Hi there,
In order for the EE admin menu to show the user will also need the ee_read_events capability.
We have an example plugin that contains 2 roles (Event Organizer and Events Manager) which may help point you in the right direction for this.
The events organizer role only have access to their own events (and registrations)
The events manager has full access to EE (but nothing else within the admin)
